Water-cooled welding machine with many options
With the Migatronic Omega 550 S you get a flexible and water-cooled welding machine . The Omega 550 S from Migatronic can be used on different power sources and has different options for control panels; manual and synergic.
Welding with cored welding wire
The Migatronic Omega series have reversed polarity. This also applies to the Migatronic Omega 550 S. This makes it possible to weld cored welding wire .
Detachable and robust wire feeder
The Omega 550 S is available with a separate wire feed unit. The MWF 27 wire feeder can be turned and is removable. The unit is equipped with a 4-roll wire feed system. Thanks to the weather-resistant and reinforced aluminum finish, the Omega 550 S is suitable for heavier applications.
Save on gas
The IGC® (Intelligent Gas Control) is an optional feature on all models that provides significant gas savings and optimum gas protection in all current ranges. Savings can be up to 50%.
From MIG/MAG to MMA
If you choose the Omega 550 S with an advanced control panel, the Omega can easily be converted from MIG/MAG to MMA welding. If you choose the basic panel, the control is manual. This makes the welding machine feel like a MIG/MAG machine with infinitely adjustable voltage settings. You do have all the advantages of an inverter.
